Iam Tongi is not just a talented singer-songwriter but also a role model for millions of people who struggle with their weight and self-esteem. Iam Tongi used his music as an outlet for his grief and a way to honor his father’s legacy. He auditioned for American Idol in February 2023, singing James Blunt’s hit song Monsters. His powerful and emotional rendition moved the judges and the viewers alike, earning him a golden ticket to Hollywood. His audition video went viral on YouTube, garnering over 12 million views.
