WASHINGTON, DC – The Personal Care Products Council is requesting public comments on a new Guideline for Stability Testing of Cosmetics by November 15, 2010. The guideline updates a 2004 general document that was prepared jointly by the Council (then CTFA) and Colipa, and a subsequent annex to that document prepared by Colipa.
The guideline outlines key stability parameters for cosmetic and personal care products, and is intended to serve as a resource for manufacturers in the development of a stability testing program.
An electronic copy of the draft guidelines is available from the Council’s Science Department by contacting Joanne Nikitakis at 202/454-0338 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
