Advertise and Donation Support
Kristin and I have been beating our heads against the wall trying to find a way to produce revenue for Personal Care Truth so we can continue providing truthful information based on scientific facts. At some point, every site reaches this stage and we feel it is time to offer advertising rates and accept donations of support.
Since launching on May 17, 2010, we’ve received 2,369,578 hits and 28,364 unique visitors. The numbers have continued to climb each month and we couldn’t be happier! It’s mind boggling to see how far we’ve come in 5 1/2 months and we know it is because of our readers, experts, guest authors and the fact that consumers and industry people alike are tired of the misinformation that has plagued the internet for so long.
We are presently working on an advertising packet. One exception, we will not accept advertisements that promote a finished personal care product. Since we do not promote our own products and have stayed away from posting articles that promote a product, we feel it is important not to accept advertisements of a product.
The fact remains, by accepting advertisements and/or donations, the article content and fabulous contributions will not change. There will be no question where the money is coming from to run the site. As always, we’re thrilled with the feedback, support and want to keep Personal Care Truth around for a long time.
